I am an International Coach Federation certified professional coach and leadership development facilitator. My passion is partnering with individuals and teams to shift their ways of thinking, being, and doing from traditional paradigms of leadership based solely on positional power, to a multi-dimensional view of leadership rooted in courage. My career has spanned external affairs strategy and talent & leadership development. Before launching my own coaching practice, I was a Managing Director on the National People Partnership & Coaching Team at Teach For America where I served as a leadership and executive coach for senior leaders and people managers across the organization. My coaching clients have come from a variety of non-profit and for-profit organizations. My primary focus is working with clients on improving their leadership effectiveness. This typically shows in needing to become more effective in one or more of the following areas: grow level of self-awareness, get clear on priorities, develop and navigate relationships with critical stakeholders, increase influence and impact, close skill gaps around management and leadership, develop a lens toward diversity, equity & inclusiveness, and understand how to get things done through others.
I specialize in “nurturing curiosity” -- tapping into my clients’ natural desire to explore, grow and create, both individually and within their organizations. With over 25 years of branding, marketing and agency management experience, I know how to manage fast-growing and profitable companies, delivering year-over-year top line and bottom line growth. I have built a 110-person New York-based branding and design company from the ground up, managed a sales promotion network across multiple offices, and headed the L.A. office of a global social media agency. My objective is to consistently bring out the best in people and teams, inspire original and bold ideas, deliver high-ROI value to clients, and cultivate meaningful partnerships. Living in Southern California, I engage with clients via video-conference, and travel extensively with my marketing consultancy and executive coaching work.
I bring along extensive experience in leadership coaching, as an Executive Coach, working globally with boards and executives alike; designing and delivering value creating coaching strategies. I created and led the coaching practice at a global financial organization before establishing an independent practice on my own. My many years experience as a member of the tactical team in both technology and financial services sectors, generating and delivering talent management strategies and executive assessment programmes, has helped me support my clients better. Having worked with both individual contributors and managers alike, I am experienced to bring in varied perspectives to the coaching conversations to help clients grow.
